Individuals Sicked Dog on Man in Debo Park, GP Police Lodge One for Meth Warrants

A man was arrested on two warrants after he, two others, and a dog chased a man in Debo Park.

An employee of the Steam Distillery called 911 Thursday at 11:19 p.m., reporting he saw a group of people with a dog at the 510 SW G Street park. The dog was sicked on a man five minutes prior to the call, but it was unknown if he had been bitten.

The man reportedly ran off towards the tracks, and the dog's owner proceeded to chase after him. The employee requested law enforcement drive through the area.

Officers contacted two of the three individuals at the park, who said the male that ran off was drunk and acting strange. Brandon Debree was soon contacted, and found to be wanted on two warrants out of the Grants Pass Police Department.

Debree was taken into custody for his two Possession of Methamphetamine charges. He was transported to jail and subsequently lodged.
