GP School Board to Set Stage for 2025-26 Academic Year at Evening Meeting
The Grants Pass School Board will set the stage for the upcoming academic year at its meeting this evening.
Following a brief Executive Session that begins at 5 p.m., the D7 School Board will convene its general session.
After written communications, the Oath of Office will be administered to Elected Board Members Cassie Wilkins, Gary Richardson, Quin Pehrson and Joe Schmidt.
Next up will be the election of the School Board Chairman, Board Vice-Chair and Parliamentarian followed by the designation of meeting times, dates and place.
The lone action item on the agenda is the approval of a new contract with District 7 Superintendent Tim Sweeney.
The Board welcomes public comment on any topic. Speakers addressing agenda items will be heard first, prioritized to individuals attending in person, residents of the district and then others.
Today's meeting will be held in the District 7 Office Board Room, located at 725 NE Dean Drive.
