OSP Snared Motorist for DUII after She Crashed Car off Highway 199 near GP
The Oregon State Police arrested a motorist for impaired driving after she crashed her vehicle off Redwood Highway west of Grants Pass.
According to OSP, troopers and emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle wreck near milepost 5 of US Highway 199 on Sunday at 8:10 p.m..
Troopers said their investigation indicated 25-year-old Jessica Long was impaired when she crashed the Toyota Camry she was driving. The driver was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. A search warrant was obtained and a legal blood draw was performed.
Based on the results of the blood draw, Long was cited at the hospital for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. Her car was impounded.
ODOT was notified of state property damage for destroyed highway signs.
