Board to Hold 2nd Public Hearing on Moving Public Meetings to Thursday AMs
The Josephine County Board of Commissioners is preparing to permanently move its weekly business sessions to Thursday mornings.
During its business session tomorrow morning, the Board will hold a public hearing to consider the second reading of an ordinance related to Commissioners meetings. The first reading was heard and approved on April 25th.
Until this year, the Board of Commissioners had held its public business meetings on Wednesdays at 9 a.m.. Earlier this year, the Commission moved the meetings to Fridays at 10 a.m. before deciding that Thursdays at 10 a.m. was a better time slot.
Under Administrative Actions, the Board will consider a request for a fee waiver from the Illinois Valley Fire District.
As always, there will be Requests and Comments from Citizens when participants are given three minutes to address the Board on virtually any topic pertaining to Josephine County.
Thursday's public meeting begins at 10 a.m. in the Anne G. Basker Auditorium.
