GP Police Arrested Frequent Flyer for Drug-Fueled Behavior at City Park

Grants Pass Police arrested a well-known offender for violating terms of his probation by displaying drug-fueled behavior at a city park over the weekend.

According to the Police Department, officers contacted and arrested 38-year-old Kelcey Edwin Cummings at Riverside Park on Saturday around 5:45 p.m..

Police said Cummings was reported to be rolling around with his pants falling off at the park and he displayed signs of being under the influence of a narcotic stimulant. A woman observed his erratic behavior and told officers it was making her kids uncomfortable.

Officers placed Cummings into custody and found him with a small amount of methamphetamine in his pocket. It was seized for destruction and his corrections officer was contacted.

Cummings was lodged in jail for Probation Violation related to past arrests for Theft and Criminal Mischief. His belongings were logged into evidence for safekeeping.
