No One Injured When Vehicle Struck Power Pole near CJ on Sunday Night
No one was hurt when a vehicle struck a power pole near Cave Junction last night.
The Illinois Valley Fire District and Josephine County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the single-vehicle crash in the 4300-block of Holland Loop Road on Sunday at 8:08 p.m..
IVFD officials said arriving units found a vehicle had sheared off a power pole and knocked out electricity to dozens of local residents. They said no one was injured and the heavily-damaged vehicle was removed and hauled away by Jerry's Towing.
Pacific Power crews were called into replace the broken power pole and restore electricity to affected customers.
The Sheriff's Office was investigating the cause of the crash.
