GP Police Incarcerated Woman for Allegedly Attacking Mother at A Street Home
Grants Pass Police jailed a woman for allegedly attacking her mother at a residence near the high school.
The Police Department reports officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 300-block of NE A Street on Saturday at 7:05 p.m..
Police said an investigation determined that 35-year-old Andrea Alyce Brundige and her mother were inside the house when an argument occurred in the kitchen. They said the daughter began physically punching and scratching her mother, causing physical injuries. However, the mother declined medical treatment.
Brundige left the residence in her vehicle, which was stopped by assisting officers near the Grants Pass School District offices on NE Dean Drive. She was advised that she was being detained and physically resisted being placed into custody.
Brundige was eventually subdued and lodged at the Josephine County Jail for 4th-Degree Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. She was being held without bail.
