Wanted Woman Driver Jailed on Warrants, Reckless Driving & DUII
A green Subaru Legacy was stopped Sunday afternoon at 12:27 by a State Trooper at the Cave Junction Chevron station for traffic violations and the woman driver was found to be wanted on two active warrants.
The woman, 23-year-old Angela Marie Yost, when told she was under arrest, physically resisted the Trooper and was placed into custody. Indications of impairment were observed so Ms. Yost was transported to Three Rivers Medical Center where a telephonic search warrant had been granted.
Yost was then taken to the Josephine County Jail and incarcerated for driving under the influence of intoxicants and controlled substance, reckless driving and resisting arrest plus two bench warrants for failing to appear.
Yost remained in custody this morning. The Subaru was released to her passenger.
