GPPD Lodge Frequent Flyer for the 10th Time in 10 Months
Grants Pass City Police Saturday afternoon responded to the report of two men and one woman lying on the sidewalk on Southwest G Street near 5th Street deterring business. One man of the men was arrested.
One man and the woman, identified as Beau Beard and Crystal Abel, promptly gathered their belongings and left the area. The remaining man, Travis Davenport, was found to have an active misdemeanor Sheriff’s Office warrant and was taken into custody.
A search of Davenport resulted in the discovery of two glass bulb shaped pieces that contained a white crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Davenport was transported to the Josephine County Jail and lodged for disorderly conduct and methamphetamine possession. No bail is listed on the jail website. This was the tenth incarceration for Davenport since February.
