OSP Nabbed Motorist on DUII Warrant after SB Interstate 5 Stop in Grants Pass
The Oregon State Police arrested a motorist on an outstanding warrant yesterday during a traffic stop on Interstate 5 in north Grants Pass.
OSP reports troopers pulled over a Hyundai Sonata driven by 49-year-old Jennifer Diane Angeles in the southbound lanes of I-5 near milepost 58 on Thursday at 10:17 a.m..
Troopers said they ran the license plate of the Hyundai and learned the registered owner was wanted on a Jackson County warrant for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. After stopping the vehicle, they determined Angeles was the registered owner so she was placed into custody.
Angeles was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on the warrant. Per her request, the vehicle was left on the side of the freeway for her boyfriend to retrieve.
