Applications Being Accepted for Vacant Seat on GP Tourism Advisory Committee

Applications are being accepted for a position on the Grants Pass Tourism Advisory Committee due to a vacancy. This position expires on March 31, 2025.

The goal of the Tourism Advisory Committee is to encourage visitors and residents to engage in community activities while enhancing the positive image of the city through marketing, promotions and destination management.

The purpose of the committee is to review and advise the work of the city's Tourism Contractor. This includes reporting findings and recommendations to the Grants Pass City Council as needed.

Special qualifications for this position includes members representing river guides, area attractions, realtors, restaurants, the media, marketing and citizens-at-large.

Applications are available at the City Administration Office at 101 NW A Street or online at "grantspassoregon.gov/committee-application." Completed applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 1st.

Applications will be reviewed by the committee on Tuesday, November 5th, and the appointment will be made by the City Council on Wednesday, November 20th.
