Deputies Jailed Two Men for Different Reasons on the Same Morning This Week

The Josephine County Sheriff's Office jailed two men for different reasons on the same morning this week.

The Sheriff's Office reports the first incident occurred on Thursday at 1:24 a.m. when deputies arrested 41-year-old Thomas Delbert McCluskey in the 1900-block of Gunnell Road near Matson County Park.

Deputies said they were performing a patrol check at the park when they spotted McCluskey sitting in a vehicle. They were familiar with him from past criminal encounters and knew that he was wanted by his corrections officer for Felony Parole Violation. He was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on a no-bail detainer.

The second incident happened on Thursday at 9:13 a.m. when deputies arrested 57-year-old Jesse J. Breymann near the corner of Saratoga and Brett ways.

Deputies said they responded to a domestic disturbance at a home near that address and observed Breymann driving away from the residence. He was placed into custody for Contempt of Court-Restraining Order Violation and lodged in jail without bail. The registered owner of the vehicle he was driving came to pick it up.
