OSP Reports Disabled Vehicle Entered on Interstate 5 in the North Valley Area
The Oregon State Police is reporting a motorist whose vehicle became disabled on Interstate 5 in the North Valley area was broken into earlier this week.
OSP reports troopers were notified of the car-clouting incident that occurred on Monday night in the northbound lanes of I-5 near milepost 65.
Troopers said a 30-year-old man was driving a white Jeep when it broke down and he left it on the side of the freeway. Sometime late Monday night, someone broke into the vehicle and stole an estimated $2,000 worth of personal belongings.
According to OSP, the Jeep owner called 9-1-1 when he returned to retrieve his vehicle and found it had been entered. There is no suspect information at this time.
