Board of Commissioners to Hold Public Hearing on North Valley Development
The Josephine County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on a proposed development in the North Valley area during its weekly business session tomorrow morning.
Following the hearing, the Board will consider the first reading of an ordinance that would amend the comprehensive plan from Forest to Residential and amend the zoning map from Woodlot Resource to Rural Residential, 5-acre minimum.
The property owner is KND Development, LLC. If approved by the Board, the second reading and adoption of the ordinance is scheduled for September 11th.
There are no other action items on the agenda.
During Requests and Comments from Citizens, participants are given three minutes to address the Commissioners on virtually any topic pertaining to Josephine County.
Wednesday's public meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Anne G. Basker Auditorium.
