OSP Collared GP Woman on Out-of-State Fugitive Warrant after Menacing Call

The Oregon State Police arrested a Grants Pass woman on an out-of-state fugitive warrant while investigating a complaint near Murphy last night.

According to OSP, troopers were dispatched to a call for service regarding possible menacing near milepost 8 of Williams Highway on Monday at 6:11 p.m..

During the course of the investigation, troopers contacted a 39-year-old female subject who was found to be wanted on an out-of-state felony warrant for failing to appear in court for an unspecified crime. She was immediately placed into custody.

The suspect was transported to Grants Pass and lodged at the Josephine County Jail on the warrant and she was being held on $250,000 bail. It wasn't clear whether the warrant was extraditable. The state where she was wanted was not disclosed.
