GP Police Arrested 2 on Warrants and Evicted 2 during City Park Checks
Grants Pass Police arrested two people on outstanding warrants and evicted two campers for ordinance violations during city park patrol checks on Monday.
At Fruitdale Park, a man was cited for Buffer Zone Violation and Misuse of Open Space. He was trespassed from the park for 30 days.
At Morrison Centennial Park, a 55-year-old man was arrested on Grants Pass and Josephine County warrants for alleged crimes of Probation Violation, Assault and Larceny. He was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on $55,000 bail.
At Riverside Park, a man was cited for failing to remove his campsite after a previous warning and he was issued a 30-day exclusion.
Also at Riverside Park, a 24-year-old woman was arrested on a Grants Pass warrant for Probation Violation related to a previous arrest for Assault. She was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on $30,000 bail.
