Convicted Felon Charged with ID Theft, Forgery and Theft
Shawn Francis Farrel, 31, of Medford, is back in jail less than three months after a July conviction on two counts of I.D. theft and two counts of 2nd degree theft after police arrested him for breaking into three homes and stealing firearms and personal documents. A 1st degree burglary charge was dropped from the earlier case.
Farrel, on two years of supervised probation, has been charged with three additional residential burglaries, one on Crowfoot Road in Eagle Point, one on Pioneer Road in Medford and one Fielder Lane in Rogue River. A total of seven firearms and documents with victimís personal information were stolen from the homes. Five of the seven have been recovered.
Farrel received a sanction for violating probation and is in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
