Jackson County Sheriff Seeks Help in Locating Burglary Suspect
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s help in locating a man suspected of participating in the burglary of the Union Creek Resort in January of this year.
One suspect was identified as Cody Farber, 22, of Eagle Point. He has been convicted of the crime and imprisoned. A second suspect captured on video surveillance cameras remains unidentified and is still at large.
He is described as being at least 6 feet tall, weighing about 160 pounds and was wearing a letterman type jacket and sweatpants. Due to the type of surveillance equipment it’s not possible to determine the color of the clothing.
The burglary occurred at 3:30 in the morning during a snow storm. Faber was operating a silver colored sedan at the time of the burglary.
Anyone who can help identify the 2nd suspect should contact the Jackson County tip line at 541-774-8333, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-850-0580. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
