Coquille Tribe Releases Financial Impact Numbers.
The Coquille Indian tribe released information showing how much financial impact their Mill Casino generates in North Bend, hoping to influence the Medford City Council.
According to the tribe, the Mill Casino pumps more than $13 million annually into North Bend and anticipates a proposed gaming facility in Medford would be a boon to local landscapers, electricians, and other merchants.
The proposed casino in Medford would be a smaller operation with about 600 video gaming machines compared to 723 at the Mill.
The casino would be built on the site of Roxy Ann Lanes and the former Kimís restaurant on the South Pacific Highway.
