Council to Consider Voters Pamphlet & Painting the Water Treatment Plant
A request that a voter’s pamphlet be published for the November General Election is on the City Council’s Wednesday night agenda.
The County Commissioners, because of budget considerations, have chosen to instead to publish a flyer with County issues only and that flyer would be inserted into the ballot envelope.
If the Council decides the City’s measure and explanatory statement should be printed in a voter’s pamphlet, a request to the County Clerk can be made. The City’s cost for the voter’s pamphlet will be between $3,500 and $4,500. The City’s Public Safety Levy will be on the November ballot.
Painting and repairing the water treatment plant is also on the agenda with the resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Simpson and Associates, Inc. of Medford for $221,462.
