Grants Pass Department of Public Safety officers arrested a felon at 5:34 p.m. Monday for allegedly pointing a firearm at a woman.
Officers responded to a home at 1237 S.E. Grandview Ave. to reports of a domestic disturbance and according to witnesses 43-year-old Stephen Douglas Buckle was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend and during the course of the argument he pointed a gun at his girlfriend’s aunt. The aunt suffered a seizure during the incident and was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center.
During the investigation, officers located two firearms and three marijuana plants.
Officers arrested Buckle on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, pointing a firearm at another, menacing and unlawful possession and manufacturing of marijuana.
