There were several incidents on the Oregon State Troopers log for the last 24 hours. Here are some of them.
An ODOT truck inspector conducted a safety inspection and found the driver was dumping raw sewage from an uncapped sewage line on the R.V. Trailer he was pulling and cited the driver.
Troopers came upon a Toyota in the ditch on O’Brien Road and observed a 17-year-old female exiting the vehicle, showing signs of impairment. She initially refused the field sobriety tests but took the tests and failed. She was transported to the Cave Junction Sub-Station where she was measured with a blood alcohol level of .19. She was cited and given a courtesy ride home.
A two vehicle collision occurred on Interstate-5 in the southbound lanes near Wolf Creek at 4:41 this morning. Statements by both drivers vary as to who was at fault. Determined facts are that a Subaru was in the left lane and a Dodge was in the right lane. The two collided and struck the outside guardrail before traveling across the lanes and hitting the inside barrier. The left lane was blocked by both vehicles. All participants refused medical treatment.
