ODF Corrals Grays Creek Fire at a Quarter Acre
A small fire, 3 miles south of Murphy, was quickly contained and extinguished Monday evening when the Oregon Department of Forestry dispatched three engines and a dozer.

The burn was held to a quarter acre in the Grays Creek area and no damage was reported to any manmade structures. The cause of the small fire remains under investigation.

Rural Metro also rolled two engines to assist in the incident.
