Jackson County Deputies Arrest Suspect Connected with Several Crimes
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jonathan Paul McDonald Monday morning after being dispatched to the Brookside Inn on Leigh Way in White City to investigate a suspicious vehicle.
The 25-year-old McDonald, who has no permanent address, was located inside the vehicle and taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Jackson County Jail on three counts of I.D. theft, three counts of credit card fraud, two counts of 3rd degree theft and one count of 1st degree theft.
McDonald is the primary suspect in a burglary that occurred May 14th where the victim’s home was entered while they slept and a purse, the keys to their truck and other valuables were taken. It’s believed the suspect returned two nights later and stole their 2013 Toyota pickup. The burglar had used their credit cards to make over $10,000 in purchases at various stores.
McDonald has been arrested five times since March 19th for various crimes including possession of meth and heroin.
