Serial Bank Robber Gets 10 Extra Years
Bradley William Monical, 43, pleaded no contest in Jackson County Thursday to four counts of second degree robbery for holding up an Ashland bank in 2010 and had 10 years added to time he is already serving.
On December 16 that year he stormed into the Premier West Bank brandishing a handgun and grabbed money from each teller and fled from the bank.
Judge Ravassipour ordered the 10-year prison sentence to run consecutively with a 2 and a half year sentence he was assessed for escaping from the Jackson County Jail and a 22-year sentence he received for robbing a Sterling Savings Bank in downtown Coos Bay in 2011.
Monical still faces charges in Washington for a bank robbery there.
