Commissioners Approve Ballot Question & Adding GIS Developer
Josephine County will be hiring a Geographic Information System developer and adding new soft wear to adequately address needs throughout the county beginning in the Assessor’s office. County Commissioners approved the personnel requisition at their Weekly Business Session Wednesday morning in the Anne Basker Auditorium.
The position draws a pay grade of A22 with a rate of pay at $4,365.26 monthly. It requires a four-year degree in specific studies.
The Commissioners also approved resolution 2014-011 authorizing referring to the voters on the May ballot the advisory question, “In your opinion, should federal agencies maximize salvage harvesting of dead and dying timber and replant areas damaged by wildfires?” as long as the cost to the county does not exceed $4,000.
