Four local residents have been arrested and jailed plus over two pounds of heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, eight firearms, stolen property and other evidence was seized when the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team served search warrants at adjacent Grants Pass properties including a residence at 2955 Cloverlawn Drive and a 5th wheel travel trailer at 2989 Cloverlawn.
Arrested at the trailer location were Marcos Antonio Gutierrez, 35, and Samuel DeLaCruz Gutierrez, 42, where narcotics and firearms were located.
Christine Esquivel, 23, was arrested at her home at 2955 Cloverlawn where detectives found methamphetamine, a stolen ATV, and other evidence.
David Westly Jones, 31, fled the scene when the warrants were initially served on Tuesday afternoon but was taken into custody Wednesday when additional warrants were obtained. He was located in the 5th wheel. He was arrested on a probation violation from previous burglaries, plus drug and stolen vehicle charges.
All face a series of drug charges and they have been incarcerated in the Josephine county jail.
During searches of the properties, three stolen ATVís were located along with tools and additional stolen property.

The raid was carried out by the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, the Medford Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security, Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Division, MADGE, the Oregon State Trooperís Highway Interdiction team, their major crimes section, arson & explosives section and the drug detection Canine and Patrol divisions.
