Burglar Dies in Confrontation with Employees
A burglar, interrupted during the burglarizing of a cabinet shop at 2245 Harbeck Road, died in a struggle with arriving employees.
State Troopers received the report at 7:07 this morning when the employees called 911 to report the burglary in progress. Before troopers arrived on the scene the employees reported the burglar had stopped breathing.
According to a report in the Courier two men confronted the suspect and he jumped them. They wrestled him to the ground where he arrested. CPR efforts were begun but he was pronounced dead after medical personnel arrived.
The burglar carried no identification.
