The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office managed to apprehend a domestic dispute suspect at approximately 6:36 a.m. today in the 800 block of N. 2nd Avenue in Gold Hill after a brief standoff.

Deputies responded to the residence to reports of the suspect, 50-year-old Timonthy Knutsen, barricaded in the home with a female victim hiding in the bathroom. 911 Dispatch managed to instruct the victim on how to exit the residence safely.
