Police arrest man for attempted murder on Christmas
Medford Police arrested a man for allegedly trying to stab his wife to death on Christmas Day.

Authorities arrived at a residence in the 300 block of N. Peach Street at roughly 2:29 a.m. to reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located 45-year-old Antoine Coleman fleeing the scene in a vehicle but officers managed to quickly apprehend him.

Investigators located Colemanís wife, 36-year-old Annette Coleman, in the residence suffering from multiple life-threatening stab wounds. She was transported to Rogue Regional Medical Center where she is reported in stable condition.

Detectives say the coupleís children were not at the residence at the time of the crime and the stabbing was the result of a domestic dispute.

Antoine Coleman is being held in jail on charges of attempted murder and first-degree assault with bail set at $2 million.
