Congressman Walden Visits Southern Oregon
U.S. Congressman Greg Waldon will be visiting Grants Pass this Wednesday with stops also scheduled in Jackson and Klamath counties.
The Congressman intends to update the constituency on his work to grow southern Oregon’s economy, including efforts to fix broken federal forest policy. Walden will also solicit input from small businesses on the implementation of the new health care law.
Wednesday morning at ten there is a small business roundtable with the Chamber of Commerce in the Black Bear Diner on northeast 6th street. At noon the Congressman moves to the Wild River Pub on Northeast ‘F’ Street to address the Grants Pass Rotary.
Wednesday afternoon Walden will conduct a 2nd small business roundtable with the Medford Chamber at the Rogue Valley Country Club.
Thursday Congressman Walden will spend in Klamath Falls, then return to Jackson County Friday for a 10:00 a.m. Agriculture Roundtable at the Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center in Central Point.
