Shakespeare Festival Ticket Prices Rise for 2014 Season
Ticket prices for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival will be higher for the 2014 season with A-plus center-section seats starting at $92, up six dollars from last season.

A-section seats in the Angus Bowmer Theater and the Allen Elizabethan Theater will start at $74, $79 in the Thomas Theater. B-section seats on the edges start at $60, up a dollar from last year. C-section seats will remain at $25. Special D-sections boxes in the Elizabethan Stage will rise to $102. Prices could go even higher if demand to see a play is strong or during the busy time of the season.

An early estimate of generated revenue is indicating the Festival has run a deficit of about $600,000 to $700,000 for this year.

The Festivalís marketing manager did point out there are numerous ways for people to see the plays for less, stating the average ticket price for all patrons was $56 this year.

More information on the 2014 season is available on the Festivalís website at www.osfashland.org.
