The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team arrested a suspected drug dealer in the 700 block of First Street in Phoenix on Monday after a drug-sniffing-dog located $12,000 in cash.

A drug dog noticed a suspicious package in the mail system on Oct. 5 and after police received a search warrant for the package they located $12,000 in cash that was being sent to the residence of 28-year-old Mark Justin Hill. Authorities served a search warrant on Monday at Hillís residence where they located 65 pounds of marijuana, small amounts of heroin, meth and psilocybin mushrooms and drug packaging material.

Hill is lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges of possession, manufacture and distribution of marijuana with bail set at $50,000.
