Negotiations Break Down between Medford Teachers & School District
Negotiations for a new labor contract between the Medford Teachers Union and the Medford School District broke down yesterday, reaching an official impasse. A labor strike is now possible in mid- to late-December.
Following the declaration of an impasse, the two sides have seven days to present a final proposal. Following that is a mandated 30-day cooling-off period, after which the teachers could strike if no agreement is reached.
