The Medford Police Department conducted a Wednesday night sweep searching for over 30 domestic violence offenders with either active warrants or probation violations. The sweep resulted in seven arrests.

Police officers and Jackson County Community Corrections officers visited 27 residences and arrested Kevin Lonnie Hawk, 28, Kenneth James Hawk, 31, Paul M. Davidson, 20, Thomas L. Bagwell, 30, Ronald W. Marks-Coe, 29, Matthew Ryan Brees, 24 and Randy Quinton Araque, 28.

The intent was to help battered women’s advocates who are working to end violence against women and children during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, originally initiated in October of 1987.
