Last Saturday Medford Police were notified two men had left a bag of cash in a Medford motel. Officers arrived to find $3,000 in counterfeit currency and while they were on scene the two returned, ran to a second motel and ultimately ran to the Alba baseball fields.

Additional officers arrived and took Adam Bennett, 24, into custody facing charges of first degree forgery, first degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and probation violation. His bail is $120,000.

The second suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Nima Sedaghaty Blue. He remains at large and is known to have ties in the Ashland and Portland areas. He is described as a white male, 6 feet 2, 220 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Medford City Police at 541-770-4783.
