Winter Weather Advisory Tonight and Saturday
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory predicting a strong cold front will move through the area from 8:00 p.m. tonight through 10:00 a.m. Saturday, producing heavy precipitation and windy conditions.
Up to a foot of snow is possible over much of the Cascades with lesser amounts, one to three inches, at lower elevations down to 2000 feet, possibly as low as 1500 feet by 4:00 a.m. Saturday.
The advisory contains a wind forecast with breezy southwest winds 15 to 25 with gusts to 35 miles per hour possible.
