Thursday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. Jackson County SWAT Team served a search warrant in the 21,000 block of Highway 62 in Shady Cove at the Fly Casters RV Park.

The Sheriff’s office had received a tip that Ronald Huber, 47, a convicted felon, had several firearms and had threatened to kill his ex-wife and police.
Huber was taken into custody without incident as deputies seized an SKS rifle and a Smith & Wesson .500 magnum revolver plus more than a thousand rounds of ammo.
Huber was jailed as a felon in possession of firearms.
