Stolen vehicle located at burglary in progress
A stolen Dodge Charger was located at a burgled home while a realtor was in the process of showing the property.

The 2007 gray Charger was found stolen at 8:27 a.m. Monday from a home in the 1400 block of S.E. N Street in Grants Pass. Officers from the Department of Public Safety took the call.

Later in the day at approximately 3:22 p.m., a realtor was showing a home in the county on Calvert Drive. The realtor located a Dodge Charger parked in the home’s detached garage and a side door to the home was open. While on the phone with emergency dispatch, the realtor reported a silver Toyota SUV was driving up the driveway but when they realized people were at the residence they sped away before the realtor was able to identify the license plate.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, returned the undamaged Charger to the owner and are investigating the burglary.
