Man dies in boating accident near Robertson Bridge Boat Ramp
A man died in a boating accident Monday at approximately 2:15 p.m. when the boat he was riding in on the Rogue River became overturned upstream from the Robertson Bridge Boat Ramp.
A Josephine County Sheriff’s Office Marine Deputy spotted a life jacket, oar and thermos floating down the river at the boat ramp and he contacted dispatch who affirmed an emergency call had been received regarding an overturned boat.
