The winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service remains in effect until 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.

The weather service is forecasting the possibility of 4 to 8 inches of snow above 2500 feet with up to a foot possible over the peaks in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness.

The snow impacts will remain above highways and population centers.
