A volatile fire scorched the inside of a home at 840 N.E. 8th Street in Grants Pass at approximately 10:00 p.m. Saturday.

Firefighters arrived on scene to discover flames shooting out of the home’s windows. Due to quick action by 17 firefighters and three air-support personnel the home was not a total loss but the entire inside of the home was burnt out.

No injuries were reported from the incident.

Personnel from American Medical Response, Public Safety and the Rogue Valley Chaplain Association responded to the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
