Hit and run driver slams stalled truck on 7th Street Bridge
A hit and run driver slammed into a stalled 1990 Mazda Pickup at approximately 9:17 a.m. today on the 7th Street Bridge in Grants Pass.
The driver of the victim vehicle, Brandon Woodward, was stalled on the right-hand lane when the suspect vehicle, a green Toyota pickup, struck the left-rear side of the victim vehicle at approximately 35 to 40 miles per hour without braking.
The driver of the suspect vehicle pulled to the side of the road further down the bridge for a brief second and a passenger exited the vehicle for less than a minute before jumping back into the cab of the truck and the vehicle took off.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
The green Toyota that perpetrated the hit and run should have heavy right-side damage. Anyone with any information about this incident should contact the Department of Public Safety by dialing 541-450-6260.
