Guns Stolen from Medford Break-in
Early Thursday morning Medford Police were dispatched to an apartment in the 1900 block of Brookhurst to investigate a burglary. Police learned the apartment of a 55 year old man had been broken into while the victim was away.


Seven unique guns are missing from the residence, mostly black powder muzzle loaders and/or antique replicas. All were functioning firearms. Some collector coins are also missing.

Missing is a .50 caliber flintlock pistol, a .44 caliber carbine six shot rifle, a .50 caliber flintlock rifle/Blueridge, a .54 caliber single shot Hawken percussion rifle with red sleeve and red band mid-point leather sling, two .44 caliber revolvers with naval scene on the cylinder, both blue in color, a New Englander .12 gauge single shot shotgun, and a .22 caliber
9-shot revolver from the World War I era.
