Bomb threat leads to student searches at North Valley High School
Josephine County Sheriff’s deputies were performing searches on students at North Valley High School this morning after the school received a bomb threat.

A teacher located a handwritten letter at the school Wednesday after operating hours that detailed the threat to the school. Administration notified the Sheriff’s Office and sent a memo to parents regarding the searches that would be conducted in the morning.

Sheriff Gil Gilbertson and two deputies were on scene before class and they searched backpacks and checked electronics. No explosives were located and class was conducted as scheduled.

Gilbertson has two suspects and he says, “We will figure out who did this.”
