Sureno Gang Member Caught at Gun Point in White City Burglary
Zenaido Quinonez-Aispuro, a documented Sureno gang member, is in the Jackson County Jail with bail set at $24,000, facing charges associated with an attempted burglary, including possession of burglary tools.

Friday morning at 5:00 a.m. the Jackson County Sheriff’s office responded to the 3600 block of Avenue G in White City to the report of a residential burglary in progress.

The homeowners, John Lewis, 55, and his wife Christina, were alerted by a noise and discovered someone was attempting to break into their home.

Quinonez-Aispuro, a 24-year old Medford transient was allegedly trying to break in through windows ripping through several screens.

John grabbed a .38 Smith and Wesson, walked out the front of the house and waited for the burglar to come around, then confronted him telling him to stop or he was going to shoot. John held him at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.

Within minutes Sheriff’s deputies had Quinonez-Aispuro in custody.
