Waldon, “No Budget, No Pay”
Congressman Greg Walden, in recent trips to Oregon, has been asked by constituents why there is no repercussion for not passing a budget, which prompted the congressman to introduce some special legislation, “No Budget, No Pay!”

The “No Budget, No Pay” plan withholds pay from members of the House and Senate if their chamber does not pass a budget by April 15th. The measure also temporarily suspends the debt ceiling until May 18th to set up a broader debate about responsible spending.
