A driver was transported to the hospital after their vehicle crashed in the 3900 block of Lower River Road at approximately 10:10 p.m. Monday.

Rural/Metro Fire Department Public Information Officer Mike Shaw says the vehicle traveled off the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a fence and telephone box.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by American Medical Response Ambulance.
