A travel trailer burst into flames Sunday at approximately 10:46 p.m. in the 200 block of Haylees Way in Grants Pass.

The owner of the 24-foot-long trailer noticed the trailer spontaneously catch fire and he called emergency dispatch.

Rural/Metro Fire Department responded to the scene with two fire engines, a water tender and approximately seven firefighters who had the blaze under control in eight to 10 minutes.

The majority of the trailer was destroyed by the fire but the flames did not spread to any nearby structures and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined but the owner of the trailer said he saw the flames coming from the trailer’s battery.
