Eagle Point Couple Charged with Poaching and Pot Possession
A month long investigation by the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife division led to the serving a search warrant on an Eagle Point couple’s home Sunday.

Robert Matthew Martin, 35, was arrested for three counts of taking a deer out of season, unlawful possession of a game mammal, unlawful possession of 2 pounds of marijuana and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He was lodged in the Jackson County jail.

His wife, Jessica B. Martin, 24, was cited for taking deer out of season, waste of wildlife, and using a prohibited hunting method. That was using artificial light.

The investigation began with the discovery of a large trophy buck that was killed off Crow Foot Road December 8th.
